What You Will Learn in This Class (Begginers)

Lip Blush also known as Lip Micropigmentation (PMU)

DAY 1

  •  Foundational Theory & Technique Practice

  • Morning Session: In-Depth Theory
The course begins with a comprehensive classroom-style session where students will gain a deep understanding of the science and art behind lip micropigmentation. This portion lays the foundation for everything you’ll practice and apply throughout the course. Whether you’re new to PMU or expanding your knowledge, this theory session ensures you’re well-prepared before picking up the machine.

  • Topics Covered:
       •    Lip Anatomy: Learn the structure of the lips, how the skin reacts to pigment, and why understanding depth and lip zones is critical for safe and effective procedures.
       •    Pigmentology: Explore how to choose the right pigment based on skin tone, undertone, and desired results. Understand pigment behavior, color correction, and long-term fading.
       •    Techniques: Study various needle configurations, machine settings, hand movements, and shading methods used to create soft, natural, or more defined lip looks.
       •    Case Studies: Review real-life before-and-after examples to analyze different client needs, pigment retention, and healed results.

  • By the end of the morning, you’ll have a solid grasp of both the technical and artistic aspects of lip PMU, setting you up for confident hands-on work.

  • Afternoon Session: Artificial Skin Practice
In the afternoon, students move into their first hands-on training experience. Using artificial (synthetic) skin, you’ll begin applying what you learned in theory. This practice is crucial for developing muscle memory, understanding pigment saturation, and building familiarity with machine control—all without the pressure of working on a live client.

  • What You’ll Learn:
       •    Proper grip and posture
       •    Needle control and movement techniques
       •    Practicing outlines, shading, and color fill
       •    Simulating full procedures step-by-step
       •    Building rhythm and flow for consistent results

  • This session is fully guided, with instructor support throughout to answer questions, correct technique, and help you gain confidence in your application skills.

DAY 2

  • Hands-On Mastery and Live Model Application

  • Morning Session: Training on Artificial Skin
The day begins with focused practice on artificial skin. This session is designed to help students build muscle memory, fine-tune their hand movements, and gain full control over the machine before working on a real model. You’ll apply all the theoretical knowledge and technical foundations from Day 1 to simulate the full lip procedure—from outlining and shading to pigment saturation—on synthetic skin under the instructor’s guidance. This step is essential for gaining the confidence and precision needed for a safe and successful live procedure.

  • What You’ll Practice:
       •    Proper hand positioning and machine control
       •    Correct needle depth and movement
       •    Shaping and outlining techniques
       •    Even pigment implantation
       •    Gradation and soft shading techniques

  • Afternoon Session: Application of the Technique on Live Models
In the afternoon, students will perform the full lip micropigmentation procedure on their own model under close supervision from the instructor. This is where you bring everything together—technique, precision, hygiene protocols, and client communication. You’ll have the opportunity to experience real-life scenarios and receive live feedback to help you grow in confidence and skill.

  • Key Focus Areas:
       •    Client consultation and consent review
       •    Skin prep and safety protocols
       •    Design mapping and symmetry
       •    Full lip procedure execution (outline, shading, pigment layering)
       •    Post-care instructions

  • Final Assessment:
At the end of Day 2, students will complete a 10-question written test to reinforce theoretical understanding. FAQ's

Do I need to bring my own model?

Yes, we strongly encourage and request that students bring their own model for the hands-on portion of the training.

Why is this Important?

  • Models provided by students are more likely to show up, reducing the risk of last-minute cancellations.

  • Having a committed model ensures you get the full hands-on experience.

Who can be a model?

  • Friends, family, mutual friends, or co-workers

  • You can also find a model by posting on social media—most students have no problem securing one.

  • Think of someone who would love to receive free microblading!

Important Guideline

  • Models cannot sit in during the theory portion of the class. They can only arrive at the  day/time requested.

  • If you are from Orlando or nearby cities, you must provide your own model.

  • If you are coming from out of state, we can try to assist in finding a model, but:

    • You must register in advance.

    • Provide at least 15 days' notice so we have time to arrange one.

    • Last-minute requests may not be accommodated, as models also need time to plan.

Model Scheduling Details

  • Your model will be needed on Day 2 for approximately 2.5 hours.
